As our culture seems to be obsessed with visuals, my team produced a video of examples of my portfolio. But as soon as I thought I’d seen it all, I got a call to support a TV pilot filming close to my home in Naples, Florida — complete with an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink list of responsibilities that called upon practically every tool in my kit. I love it when people look at my creative and organizational skills and ask themselves: I wonder if he can do this? If I can — and if the caller is enthusiastic and collaborative — chances are good that I’m IN.
